U18 B Graduation Night A Huge Success
On Sunday February 5th the U18 Rep Team honored nine 2005 born players who participated in their last regular season game.  The house was packed and the crowd was rocking!

The evening started off with a stick arch created by past coaches and current PMHA players! Players were lead through the arch while being piped onto the ice by Rob Boyle, a very special moment as Rob is a member of the PMHA family and to have one of our own leading the way added a special touch! The team would be followed onto the ice by past coaches and current team members! A special thank you to Cooper Reynolds who performed Oh Canada on a special night where brother Spencer Reynolds would play his last regular season game.

The game would start with all six Flames on the ice being third year players, this shift wouldn’t disappoint, Tyler LeMesurier would net the first goal with a helper from Trent Leonard. The Flames would add a second goal to go up 2-0 netted by Trent Leonard with helpers from LeMesurier and Mitch Ingram. After a fast paced two periods the Flames would go into the intermission up 2-1. The Flames would start the third period on the Power play and didn’t disappoint, Spencer Reynolds would make it 3-1 with help from LeMesurier for his third point of the night. On the same Power Play only 1:19 later Ryan Geere would make it 4-1 with a blast from the point, assists to Carson Boyle and Charlie Ritchie. As the third period continued the Flames saw great goaltending by Owen Moreau and some pretty special plays by Kyle Desroches and Josh Robitaille while controlling the Flames blueline  The Flames would go on to add an insurance marker scored by Bryson Matt with assists to Gavin Hamelin and Aidan Gravel. Solid play by all Flames on this special night as they would skate to a 5-1 victory.  Once the final buzzer had sounded and visiting Huntsville left the ice our nine graduating players would do one last lap saluting the crowd and showing their support to their parents, family, friends and fans.

The U18 Rep Team would like to thank all the fans who attended and it showed that small town hockey is still alive in Penetang.

The team would go on to gather at Captain Ken’s for some post game events to end off what was a night that that these players, families and coaches will talk about for years to come.

A special thank you goes out to the Huntsville Rep C team for showing such great sportsmanship during the ceremony and post game!

Up next for the U18 Rep Team is the playoffs - stay tuned for our playoff schedule to be posted.
